AVP Construction JAX is a faith-guided, family-run finish carpentry company, built on the belief that doing it right the first time is the only way worth doing it.
Artem’s story
I’m Artem, the owner of AVP. I was born in Belarus, and in 1997 my family immigrated to Sacramento, California, where I grew up. In 2012 I married my beautiful wife, and today we’re blessed with five incredible boys. They are my greatest joy and the reason I work as hard as I do.
I founded AVP in 2020. The “10+ years of craft” you’ll see on the site is my own time in the trade, not how long the company has been open. In March 2022 we moved AVP to Jacksonville looking for a better life for our family, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. I’ve poured myself into AVP with a simple goal: to create beautiful, high-quality spaces that homeowners are proud to call their own.
But this business has always been about more than carpentry. My faith and my family come before everything else. They shape how I lead, how I treat people, and the standard we hold ourselves to every single day. I believe that when you put God first, keep your word, and do the right thing even when no one is watching, excellence becomes the standard.
That’s why we never cut corners. Every accent wall, entertainment center, pantry, and custom built-in is crafted with the same care and attention to detail we’d want in our own home.

How we run the company
- Insured · $1M general liability. A certificate of insurance is provided before any job starts.
- Duval County Business Tax Receipt #403487. The local receipt for the Jacksonville business.
- One all-in price. Quoted at your in-home consultation. No menu pricing, no surprise add-ons, no trip charges.
- Balance due at satisfaction. The final walkthrough happens together, and the balance is only due when you’re fully satisfied with the finished work.
- A one-year workmanship warranty. Every installation is covered for a year against defects in our workmanship. Read the warranty.
- Finish carpentry only. We don’t chase roofing, framing, demolition, drywall, tile, flooring, or remodels. Custom millwork is the craft, and staying specialized is why the finish quality stays high.
