How we work

Four steps. No surprises.

Every project runs the same way, from the first phone call to the final walkthrough. You always know what comes next and what it costs.

  1. Step 01

    Private Consultation

We visit your home, measure the space, and discuss your vision, then provide a single, all-in price for the project.

  2. Step 02

    Design & Materials

We source premium materials and confirm every detail before we start.

  3. Step 03

    The Build

Our crew arrives on time, works clean, and respects your home. 1 to 5 days.

  4. Step 04

    The Reveal

Final walkthrough together. You don't pay until you're completely satisfied.

What it is actually like

Organized, clean, and accountable from first visit to final walkthrough.

A cheap carpenter shows up with a truck and a maybe. We run your project like the investment it is: a written scope, real protection for your home, and a paid schedule you agree to before we ever pick up a tool.

Before we start

In-home consultation

We come to your home, measure the space, and talk through how you actually use the room. You get our honest read on what will look right and what we would do differently, not a pushy sales pitch. If the project is not a fit for us, we will tell you.

Design direction

We translate your inspiration photos into a concrete plan: proportions, profiles, and the small architectural decisions that make built-in work look intentional instead of added on. You approve the direction before anything is ordered.

Material selection

We help you choose the right materials for the job, paint-grade versus stain-grade, solid wood versus engineered, the trim profiles and hardware, and we explain the trade-offs in cost and longevity so the choice is yours and informed.

One written, all-in price

You receive a single fixed price for the agreed scope. No hourly meter, no vague allowances that balloon later. The number you approve is the number you pay unless you ask us to change the scope.

While we are in your home

Dust protection

Cutting and sanding make dust. We contain it at the source with plastic containment and on-tool dust extraction so it does not migrate through your house and settle on everything you own.

Floor and wall protection

Floors are covered with rosin paper or board, corners and door casings get protected, and we move and re-cover your furniture. Your home should look untouched everywhere we are not actively building.

Daily cleanup

We clean up at the end of every working day. Tools are staged neatly, the floor is vacuumed, and the space is left walkable. You are never living inside a job site overnight.

Jobsite communication

You have a direct line to the person running your project. We tell you who is arriving and when, flag anything we find behind the wall before we act on it, and you are never guessing what is happening in your own home.

Staying on track

Timeline expectations

Most projects run one to five working days; larger built-in and whole-room work can run up to two weeks. We give you a realistic window up front and tell you immediately if anything changes it, rather than letting a job quietly drag.

Change orders, handled in writing

If you want to add to the scope mid-project, or we uncover something that genuinely needs to change, we price it and put it in writing for your approval before we do the work. No surprise line items at the end.

The finish

Final walkthrough

We walk the finished work together. Anything you want adjusted, a caulk line, a touch-up, a reveal that is not quite even, we correct before we call it done. Your sign-off is the standard, not ours.

Payment expectations

You see the payment schedule before we start: a deposit to reserve your slot and order materials, and the balance due only once the walkthrough is complete and you are satisfied. No final payment until the work is right.

How to prepare before install day

A few small things on your end keep day one smooth. We handle the rest.

  • Clear the work area and a short path to it so the crew can move materials in safely.
  • Move small valuables and anything fragile out of the room; we protect and move the larger pieces.
  • Plan for some noise during cutting and fastening, and for a parking spot near the entrance.
  • Secure pets away from the work zone and the open door.
  • Have your inspiration photos and any final material choices ready so the start is not delayed.

Tell us what you want built.

We'll tell you if it's a fit. We take a limited number of projects and respond within 24 hours.
