Privacy Policy

• Contact information you give us: name, mobile phone number, email address, and the city or neighborhood where the project will take place.
• Project details you give us: service type, scope description, photos you attach, the address of the project, any notes about access, scheduling, or preferences.
• Communications: SMS, email, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, and phone-call notes between you and our team. We keep these so the office has a single conversation history for your project.
• Payment information: if you pay a deposit or final invoice through our payment processor (Stripe), Stripe collects your card information directly — we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
• Website analytics: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and Google Analytics pageview data so we can see which content is working.

We use what you give us to: respond to your estimate request, schedule and run your project, send appointment and install-day reminders, share estimate / contract / invoice links, request payment, follow up after the project, and request a review if you're happy with the work. We also use aggregated, anonymous analytics to improve the website.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not use your information for advertising targeting on third-party platforms. We do not share your information with data brokers.

You opt in to receive transactional and customer-service text messages from AVP Construction JAX by one of two verifiable methods: (a) submitting our website contact form at avpjax.com/#contact with the SMS consent checkbox checked, or (b) texting the keyword AVP to our business number. Both methods record an auditable timestamped consent. Once opted in, you may receive messages including:

• Lead replies and scheduling messages from our team;
• Site-visit and install-day reminders;
• Estimate, contract, and invoice links;
• Crew-on-the-way notifications;
• Progress updates and project photos;
• Payment and deposit reminders;
• Post-completion satisfaction surveys and review requests;
• Occasional referral thank-yous and annual check-ins.

Message frequency. Frequency varies based on where your project is in its lifecycle. A typical client receives between 2 and 20 messages over the full course of a project; many weeks you will receive none. We do not send promotional or marketing blasts.

Message and data rates may apply.Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to any messages you send to or receive from us. AVP Construction JAX does not charge for SMS.

Opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END) to any message from us. We will acknowledge your opt-out and you will not receive further SMS from us unless you re-opt-in by replying START or by contacting us through another channel.

Help. Reply HELP to any SMS from us to receive support contact information, or email hello@avpjax.com.

No sharing of mobile information. AVP Construction JAX will not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in status, or your SMS consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the SMS program described in this section. We use Twilio Inc. as our SMS delivery vendor, and your mobile number is shared with Twilio only as required for message delivery — it is not used by Twilio for marketing and is not sold or sublicensed.

The categories of personal information described elsewhere in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — that specific information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use a small number of vetted vendors to run the business. They process information only for the purpose we ask them to and only under written data-processing terms:

• Twilio — SMS message delivery and inbound routing.
• Stripe — payment processing for deposits and invoices.
• Supabase — US-region database hosting for our CRM (Hewer) where your project record lives.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (estimate links, receipts).
• Google Workspace — internal email and file storage.
• Google Analytics — anonymous website traffic analytics.

None of these vendors are authorized to use your information for their own marketing or to sell it.

Project records live in our CRM database (US-region Postgres on Supabase) with row-level security policies that limit access to AVP Construction JAX staff who need the data to do their job. Photos and documents are stored in encrypted storage with signed URLs. All transport is TLS 1.2 or higher. We retain project records for seven (7) years per Florida construction recordkeeping requirements; SMS conversation logs for two (2) years; website analytics for fourteen (14) months.

You can request a copy of the information we have on you, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your records by emailing hello@avpjax.com with the subject "Privacy request." We respond within 14 days. Note that completed-project records are retained for the seven-year period above for recordkeeping; we can delete contact information and communications outside that record set on request.

California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah residents have additional rights under their state privacy laws (access, correction, deletion, portability, and a right to opt out of sale or sharing). We do not sell personal information and do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, but if you wish to exercise any of these rights, the same email address handles those requests.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email us and we will delete it.

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes affecting active clients, send an SMS or email notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
