Terms of Service

AVP Construction JAX Inc. is a Florida-licensed and insured finish-carpentry contractor serving Jacksonville and St. John's County. Our work includes TV entertainment centers, custom built-ins, accent walls, shiplap, office build-outs, pantries, mudrooms, box beams, coffered ceilings, and related custom millwork.

Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information you share with us and our walk-through of the project. They are not binding offers until both parties sign a written agreement. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope changes, hidden conditions are discovered on site, or you request additional work.

Once you accept an estimate and pay the deposit, the signed estimate becomes our written agreement for that project, including the scope of work, materials list, schedule, and payment terms. Any change in scope is documented as a written change order, signed by both sides, and adjusts the schedule and price accordingly.

A deposit is required to schedule install dates. Deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun, except where required by Florida law. Final balances are due on completion. Past-due invoices may accrue late fees and, after multiple notices, may be referred to collections or result in a recorded contractor's lien per Florida Statutes Chapter 713.

We warranty our workmanship for one (1) year from the completion date against defects in installation under normal residential use. Manufacturer warranties on specific products (e.g. paint, hardware, fixtures) apply separately per the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage caused by movement of the structure, moisture intrusion outside our scope, modifications by other trades, or normal wear-and-tear.

We may photograph completed work and use those photos for our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing. We do not include identifying information (street address, homeowner name, interior shots that show personal items) without your written permission. If you prefer we not photograph the completed work at all, just let us know before the final day on site.

By providing your mobile number and opting in (web-form checkbox, texting us first, or verbal consent in person or on the phone), you consent to receive transactional and customer-service SMS messages from AVP Construction JAX about your project. The program is described in detail in our SMS Messaging Policy and Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Frequency varies; typically 2–20 messages per project.
• Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for support contact information.
• We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its admin areas; scrape the site at a rate that interferes with normal operation; submit false information through the contact form; or send messages through our SMS program for the purpose of harassment, spam, or impersonation.

The avpjax.com site content, photos, copy, and logo are owned by AVP Construction JAX Inc. You may share links to public pages and embed our publicly posted work in good-faith editorial / personal contexts with credit. Wholesale copying for commercial purposes requires written permission.

Website content is provided as-is. Photos of past projects are representative of our work but each installation is custom — yours will differ. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AVP Construction JAX disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose on the website content itself (your project agreement governs the actual work).

Except where prohibited by law, AVP Construction JAX's aggregate liability for any claim related to the website or SMS program is limited to USD $100. This section does not limit our liability under the signed project agreement, which governs the construction work itself.

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or SMS program after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
